The political structures in China and India in the Classical Period were both divided up into regions, however Chna's regions were united under a centralized government whereas India's political structure was scattered into regions.

2. Describe the changes and continuities in the role of women in the transition from a hunter gathering life style to civilization.
Women in the Neolithic period had a more active role in society but as mankind trangressed into civilization by agriculture, women's role in society diminished as there was no need for them to hunt and be an active participant in society.
